About
Dana
I've been drawing for as long as I can remember, long before I called it anything. Ceramics came later, through pottery classes that gave a second material to the same instinct.
How it started
In college, a friend of mine painted icons and sold them — the first time I saw that this could be more than something private. I didn't chase it. I just kept it filed away, and eventually came back to it.
What I believe about the work
Nothing here is corrected into perfection. A thumbprint, an uneven glaze line, an asymmetry that would never repeat if I tried again — these aren't flaws. They're proof a hand was there. I'd rather make one honest thing than a hundred identical ones.
I show my work in person more often than online — at fairs and small galleries across Romania, including MTR Bucharest. If you'd like to meet, that's usually where.
